Car Care Plan clients among top UK dealer groups for return on sales
Motor Trader has revealed the top UK dealer groups for return on sales – and more than half of the top 25 are partnered with Car Care Plan for their financial aftercare provision. The average pre-tax profit among the top 25 was almost 5.5%, with Car Care Plan helping to boost the revenue and profit per sale for 13 of those dealer groups, including the company that took the number one spot.

Car Care Plan partners on the Motor Trader list
CEM Day was head and shoulders above the competition, with 2.5% more than second place on the list, boasting a return on sales of 9.1%. The company sells their vehicles alongside their own-branded financial aftercare products, provided by Car Care Plan, as well as through Car Care Plan sister company AutoTrust.
Others on the list included Arnold Clark Automobiles (10th), the largest dealer group by turnover and pre-tax profit, with a 5.5% return on sales. They are partnered with Car Care Plan to provide their customers with Kia branded warranty and Motor related add-on products. Also among the top 10 were Car Care Plan clients including Cars 2 (7th) and Gravells (9th).
Wellington Motors (11th), Super Group (Allen Ford) (14th), Hawkins Motor Group (18th), McLean & Appleton (20th), FRF South Wales (21st), Cambria Automobiles (22nd), Parkway Derby (23rd), John Banks Group (24th), and Lipscomb Cars (25th), are all also supported by Car Care Plan for their aftercare provision.
