Car Care Plan Appoints New Chief Executive Officer
Car Care Plan is delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Russell as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. 
Ben officially stepped into the role on the 1st of June, taking responsibility for the overseeing and guidance of the entire Car Care Plan Group operation. He will ensure that our products remain at the cutting edge of the market, and that the services we provide continue to be of the exceptionally high standard expected of the business by our clients and customers.
Ben’s appointment brings a wealth of industry and Car Care Plan experience. Having joined Car Care Plan in 1998 as an Underwriting Manager, Ben has managed the company’s Underwriting operations, created our overseas business in China, overseen our UK Sales and Marketing operations and more recently has been the acting Deputy CEO of the business.
Previous CEO Paul Newton has taken the decision to retire but will continue to be involved in the business taking on the role of Non-Executive Chairman.
On taking the role, Ben has the following to say:
“First and foremost I want to wish Paul a long and happy retirement and thank him for all his guidance and advice over the years.
I’m delighted to accept the role and I’m extremely excited about the future of this business.
Over our 45 years in business we’ve built a fantastic reputation within the market for the standard of our products, service and people.
Despite the current challenges everyone is experiencing at the minute, our business is thriving, growing and innovating. I look at the recent additions to our business, like Andrew Radi who has joined us to take up the role of Chief Operations Officer, and I think we’re in a fantastic position to continue to build on our sterling reputation in the years to come, offering exceptional product utility, underpinned by market leading service.”
And how does the future of the market look to Ben?
“The next decade and beyond is going to throw forward some very exciting innovations for the automotive market.
Alternative fuel vehicles, vehicle autonomy and mobility will all drive some serious change in the market and consumer ownership.
I look at the skills and knowledge within the Car Care Plan team and I think we are in a fantastic position to adapt to these changes and continue to provide our clients with the exceptional products and services they expect from Car Care Plan.”
