Car Care Plan sponsors AM Awards Used Car of the Year

The 2017 AM Awards takes place on Thursday, 9th February, at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham. It is the most influential and important awards event in the UK automotive retail industry and Car Care Plan is once again a key supporter.

As sponsor of the Used Car of the Year award, Car Care Plan is demonstrating its support of one of its key sectors, said Chief Executive Paul Newton.

“We are sponsoring Used Car of the Year to show our continued support of the fantastic achievements and success stories within the automotive industry. We sponsor the used car award as it is very close to our heart. One of the key focusses of our business is the used car market and the value we, as a business, can add to this sector of the market.”

Nominees for Used Car of the Year

With only two days to go before the event, the shortlists for 23 awards have been compiled and judging has taken place. Retailers and manufacturers from across the industry are in contention for the keenly contested accolades.

The shortlist for the Car Care Plan Used Car of the Year award includes:

  • Ford Fiesta
  • Kia Sportage
  • Land Rover Discovery Sport
  • Suzuki Vitara
  • Volkswagen Golf.

The category consists of used cars aged six months to three years. They have been judged on their quality, how well they have retained their residual value, the strength of the manufacturers’ used car programmes, the level of engagement from retailers and the use of remarketing.
